Cupcake Cakes

Good Evening Everyone :) I hope your weekend was great. I wanted to share with you some of my cupcake cakes that I have made for my customers to help them celebrate. I love shaping my cupcakes into something unique and different to help those celebrate their special occasions. For a birthday celebration I shaped my Reese Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting into a "M" shape for the initials of the birthday girl. Put some candles in the middle and it makes the celebration complete :) Another birthday celebration. I got a request to help add that special something to a surprise birthday party. A request for a cupcake cake shaped in a 30. Made out of Reese Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting and Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting. To add something more I incorporated the birthday girls favorite color, blue. I colored the Vanilla Buttercream Frosting blue and sprinkled blue crystals on top of the two flavors.  ...

Monster Cookie Cupcakes

Hey Everyone :) So tonight I wanted to share the cupcakes I made for my sister and I's graduation party. My amazing and talented sister, Heather, graduated from Trinity School of Nursing with RN nursing degree. We wanted to celebrate together so I waited a few months and we celebrated ours together. Of course I took care of the dessert and guess what I made CUPCAKES! With that being said I wanted to try something new and experiment with a new recipe. I went with Monster Cookie Cupcakes. The base of the cupcake was peanut butter with milk chocolate chips. Then I topped it off with a heaping amount of creamy cookie dough. It wasn't your typical cookie dough though. The cookie dough was made with cream cheese, M&Ms, chocolate chips and oats. They were a success!! The expressions and reactions I got from everybody after the first bit of the new cupcakes were so humbling. Since the party in July I have had 4 orders requesting the new Monster Cookie Cupcakes. You know yo...

Twist and Shout Cupcakes

Good afternoon everybody :) So I wanted to share with you my Twist and Shout Cupcakes. Interesting name right? I got a request for cupcakes to celebrate a 3 year anniversary. She told me that she wanted to surprise her boyfriend with something sweet to celebrate. She requested cupcakes that would combine his favorite flavors of chocolate and vanilla. She asked for the base to be chocolate cake but for me to do something unique for the frosting. Chocolate and vanilla are simple flavors but she wanted to combine the two flavors to make the cupcake unique to help them celebrate. The final product being my Twist and Shout Cupcake. I made the base chocolate cake and topped them off with twisting chocolate and vanilla buttercream frosting. She loved the idea and the finishing product was more than what she expected. I have perfected my chocolate cupcake over the years. I have switch up the recipe and finally got it to where I want it to be. My chocolate batter is creamy with ...
