Cupcake Cakes

Good Evening Everyone :) I hope your weekend was great. I wanted to share with you some of my cupcake cakes that I have made for my customers to help them celebrate. I love shaping my cupcakes into something unique and different to help those celebrate their special occasions.

For a birthday celebration I shaped my Reese Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting into a "M" shape for the initials of the birthday girl.

Put some candles in the middle and it makes the celebration complete :)

Another birthday celebration. I got a request to help add that special something to a surprise birthday party. A request for a cupcake cake shaped in a 30. Made out of Reese Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting and Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting. To add something more I incorporated the birthday girls favorite color, blue. I colored the Vanilla Buttercream Frosting blue and sprinkled blue crystals on top of the two flavors.

"Huge shoutout to Lauren Raquel Blair for making these cupcakes for Amanda's surprise party. Not only do they look great but they tasted amazing too! If you're ever interested in getting a large order of cupcakes for an event get them from Laur Laur's Sweet Treats!"

"Thanks Lauren! I loved them!"

That is the feedback I got after this order. I love getting positive feedback from my customers :) It's so humbling to me.

Lastly, I wanted to share another cupcake cake that I made to help celebrate a 50th anniversary of high school. Chocolate Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and Strawberry Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting.

Pretty and Pink Smash Cake!

Smash Cake!!!! Have you all been to a little kids first birthday?? My first one was one of my best friend's little girls birthday party. It was so much fun to watch Baby Sky with her cake. At first she was caution. She was giving her mom a look like mommy what is this?? Then she tried a little piece of the cake and her face lite up. In her tiny human brain she looked like she was screaming CAKE!!!!! It was so adorable to witness such a thing. I had the honor of making a sweet girls first birthday cake and I have a feeling her experience went the same as well. Her dad requested a smash cake and said anything with pink. So of course I had to add a special twist to it. Pretty and Pink Smash Cake When I delivered the cake I got multiple comments that "it is too pretty to smash". That to me is the best compliment. You know that the smash cake exists so the parents and relatives can take cute pictures of the cake smashed all over t...

Blueberry Raspberry Cream Cheese Cupcakes

It's almost that sweet summer time!! I have the perfect cupcake for you this summer. A fruity concoction that will make you beg for another. Blueberry Raspberry Cream Cheese Cupcakes. I made the batter with real blueberries and raspberries. I topped the cupcake off with flavored cream cheese icing. The white you see in the picture above is just normal cream cheese icing, the red you see is raspberry flavored cream cheese icing, and lastly the blue you see is blueberry flavored cream cheese icing. To make these icings I crushed real fruit to color and to capture the decilious flavor of the fruit!! Planning a cook out? Or a summer get together with your friends or family? Or do you just want to try these amazing cupcakes yourself then contact Laur Laur's Sweet Treats at laurlaurssweettreats@gmail.com or call and place an order now at 740-258-9890 . Run for the Roses Bridal Shower

Good Evening and Happy Wednesday!! I had a high school friend approach me a little while back to make her sister's bridal shower cupcakes. Her sister attended Kentucky University, where she met her   FiancĂ© .  After they get married they will be moving back to Kentucky. As you probably collected Kentucky has a BIG part of their relationship.  The bride’s sister wanted to somehow incorporate Kentucky into the cupcakes for the bridal shower.  We made Run for the Roses mini cupcakes to add a creative twist to the bridal shower. She requested mini cupcakes so they are easy to grab and go. The other thought was it wouldn’t be too messy for the women who 'dressed up for the derby". We loved this idea! The flavors that she requested were Mocha Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and Strawberry Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting . With the frosting piped and colored to look like roses. These cupcakes turned out simple and classy....
