Cupcake Cakes

Good Evening Everyone :) I hope your weekend was great. I wanted to share with you some of my cupcake cakes that I have made for my customers to help them celebrate. I love shaping my cupcakes into something unique and different to help those celebrate their special occasions.

For a birthday celebration I shaped my Reese Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting into a "M" shape for the initials of the birthday girl.


Put some candles in the middle and it makes the celebration complete :)


Another birthday celebration. I got a request to help add that special something to a surprise birthday party. A request for a cupcake cake shaped in a 30. Made out of Reese Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting and Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting. To add something more I incorporated the birthday girls favorite color, blue. I colored the Vanilla Buttercream Frosting blue and sprinkled blue crystals on top of the two flavors.

That is the feedback I got after this order. I love getting positive feedback from my customers :) It's so humbling to me. 

Lastly, I wanted to share another cupcake cake that I made to help celebrate a 50th anniversary of high school. Chocolate Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and Strawberry Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting.

Good Evening and Happy Wednesday!! I had a high school friend approach me a little while back to make her sister's bridal shower cupcakes. Her sister attended Kentucky University, where she met her   Fiancé .  After they get married they will be moving back to Kentucky. As you probably collected Kentucky has a BIG part of their relationship.  The bride’s sister wanted to somehow incorporate Kentucky into the cupcakes for the bridal shower.  We made Run for the Roses mini cupcakes to add a creative twist to the bridal shower. She requested mini cupcakes so they are easy to grab and go. The other thought was it wouldn’t be too messy for the women who 'dressed up for the derby". We loved this idea! The flavors that she requested were Mocha Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and Strawberry Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting . With the frosting piped and colored to look like roses. These cupcakes turned out simple and classy....

Love is Sweet Grab a Treat – Engagement Party Cupcakes

Burr it sure is cold here in Ohio.  Just when you thought it would warm up……. You wake up to everything covered in white fluffy snow. The forecast is looking like it will be warming up soon... which means all of the pretty white snow will be melting which means a muddy mess. Yup that sounds like a winter in Ohio. Throughout the winter months what is better than staying warm in the kitchen baking up a storm? My sister, Heather, got engaged and I couldn’t be more thrilled for her and her finance. I am the youngest of 4 and Heather was the first one to get engaged. With that being said my parents are beyond excited.  Anytime there is an excuse to have a party my family goes all out. Brown Bear Pottery Open House Minis

Happy Saturday!  Brown Bear Pottery is a local business out of Newbury, OH. All of their pieces are beautiful. Each year they are coming up with new pieces that are even more impressive than the last. Every year they hold an Open House for their customers. The past two years we have been honored to be apart of it.   This is the second year they requested cupcakes. The event is close to Christmas and not far from Thanksgiving. They wanted those two holidays to be represented in the flavors. We went with  Pumpkin Spice Minis and Peppermint Hot Chocolate Minis.  They ordered our mini cupcakes because they are perfect for their customers to grab and go. The mini cupcakes fit perfectly on the platters they were selling. As their customers came in to pick up their orders or browse, the minis were perfect for them to grab and keep moving.
