Reese's Lovers Jars

This month is Operation Feed at the bank. Operation feed is a campaign that is currently running where all proceeds go to the Food Pantry. The campaign consists of different events that take place in efforts to raise money for the Food Pantry. Thursday there was a cake auction and I volunteered to make a basket.

I knew I wanted to make my Reese Lover's Cupcakes because you can never go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter right? Then my creative mind went to work.

I layered the cupcakes in a mason jar.

They turned out so cute. I loved them and so did everyone at the cake auction. These jars are perfect with grabbing a fork and digging right in! Then if you couldn't finish it you can put the lid back on and take it home with you. How perfect? 


The basket turned out great. With all the snow, rain and cold weather I went with an Easter basket to remind everybody spring is coming (hopefully)!!! 


Another great cause and a successfully event. In just one event we raised a little over $1500 dollars!! 

I loved how the jars came out. You should expect more in the future!

Good Evening and Happy Wednesday!! I had a high school friend approach me a little while back to make her sister's bridal shower cupcakes. Her sister attended Kentucky University, where she met her   Fiancé .  After they get married they will be moving back to Kentucky. The flavors that she requested were Mocha Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and Strawberry Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting . With the frosting piped and colored to look like roses. These cupcakes turned out simple and classy....

Love is Sweet Grab a Treat – Engagement Party Cupcakes

Burr it sure is cold here in Ohio.  Just when you thought it would warm up……. You wake up to everything covered in white fluffy snow. The forecast is looking like it will be warming up soon... which means all of the pretty white snow will be melting which means a muddy mess. Yup that sounds like a winter in Ohio. Throughout the winter months what is better than staying warm in the kitchen baking up a storm? My sister, Heather, got engaged and I couldn’t be more thrilled for her and her finance. Brown Bear Pottery Open House Minis

Happy Saturday!  Brown Bear Pottery is a local business out of Newbury, OH. All of their pieces are beautiful. Each year they are coming up with new pieces that are even more impressive than the last. Every year they hold an Open House for their customers. The past two years we have been honored to be apart of it.   This is the second year they requested cupcakes. The event is close to Christmas and not far from Thanksgiving. They wanted those two holidays to be represented in the flavors. We went with  Pumpkin Spice Minis and Peppermint Hot Chocolate Minis.  They ordered our mini cupcakes because they are perfect for their customers to grab and go. The mini cupcakes fit perfectly on the platters they were selling. As their customers came in to pick up their orders or browse, the minis were perfect for them to grab and keep moving.
