Apple Pie Cupcakes with Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting

Better late then never right?! I love trying new recipes and mixing it up. The perfect time to do so is the holidays with the family because of course I supply the dessert! I know they will give me their honest opinion so I can perfect my master piece. I wanted to share with you all what I mixed up for this year for Thanksgiving.

Apple Pie Cupcakes with Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting.


These cupcakes were a HIT. 

When you take your first bite of these cupcakes there is a surprise waiting for you.  When you bite into the spice cake you find an apple pie filling inside. The perfect combination of spices and the warm apple pie filling went together perfectly. 


I made a cinnamon buttercream frosting and topped it off with a few pieces of apple pie filling. Lastly, I lightly dusted the top of the cupcakes with cinnamon.
                                  

Apple pie is my dads FAVORITE dessert. Every restaurant we go to my dad asks 'do you have apple pie?' and when they answer no; he says "do you know this is America?" haha he is such a jokester. Best guy I know hands down. 

The reason whey I shared that with you guys is he LOVED these cupcakes. Of course he said you can't beat the tradition apple pie but these are close!

Her sister attended Kentucky University, where she met her   Fiancé .  After they get married they will be moving back to Kentucky. Pretty and Pink Smash Cake!

Smash Cake!!!! Have you all been to a little kids first birthday?? My first one was one of my best friend's little girls birthday party. It was so much fun to watch Baby Sky with her cake. At first she was caution. She was giving her mom a look like mommy what is this?? Then she tried a little piece of the cake and her face lite up. In her tiny human brain she looked like she was screaming CAKE!!!!! It was so adorable to witness such a thing. I had the honor of making a sweet girls first birthday cake and I have a feeling her experience went the same as well. Her dad requested a smash cake and said anything with pink. Disney Princess Cupcakes

Happy HUMP Day! Being a Disney Princess is every little girls dream in one way or the other. I got to help celebrate a little girls birthday with taking her dream and putting them into a sweet treat for her party. He mom threw an awesome birthday party for her daughter and friends to enjoy. The colors came out fun and vibrant. I matched the color of the icing to cutouts that was provided to me. I made the frosting look like the princess dress/skirt.
