Easter Cupcakes

First off, I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. I sure did. I spent my Easter with the people that matter the most. You are never too old for an Easter Basket, even at 20 right? My parents didn't think so because I'm the youngest of 4 daughters and my parents hid all of our baskets. Trying to find my basket brought back so many good memories. This year my basket wasn't filled with chocolate and candy. It was so much better!


This year my basket was a colorful bag with a cupcake puzzle, a perfect cupcake braclet and some other tools for decorating. It was my own basket of "dreams".

Speaking of cupcakes I made the perfect cupcakes to go along with our family Easter. Carrot cake is an obvious pick for Easter cupcakes. But i found a recipe to add a twist to the typical carrot cake. I got so excited to try it out when I found it. I made Banana Carrot cupcakes topped off with Coconut Cream Cheese frosting; decorating the top of the cupcake to look like a nest for the festive theme of Easter, toasted coconut with whooper eggs.

Love You More Wedding

Good afternoon everybody. I wanted to share with you a wedding we did over the weekend. We are always so happy to be a part of someone’s big day. The bride and groom requested a vanilla on vanilla cake just for them. Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting.   Here is the cake without the fancy decorations. I loved how simple and classy this cake turned out. The wedding was in a cute little barn. Their colors were light blue, dark blue, light pink and burlap. We wanted to make the cake pop and go along with the theme of the venue. We added some burlap and they picked out an adorable cute topper that said I love you more. The burlap and the cake topper took this cake to a new level. We loved it and so did our customers.  In addition to the cake they requested cupcakes for their guests. I love this idea. Graduation 2017

Hello everyone!! Happy HUMP day :) I wanted to give you all an update. We have been busy this summer with Graduation parties. One of our favorite things to do is be a part of our customer's milestones. Graduation season is an exciting time and we were honored to be a part of the many graduate's special day by adding something sweet to the occasion. Here is a few cupcakes we have done this summer, enjoy :) Lemon Cupcakes with Raspberry Filling topped off with Lemon Zest Buttercream Frosting.   These cupcakes were a HUGE hit. The lemon flavored cupcakes with the a raspberry flavoring is a perfect match. We got great reviews from each of our customers this summer. Love is Sweet Grab a Treat – Engagement Party Cupcakes

Burr it sure is cold here in Ohio.  Just when you thought it would warm up……. You wake up to everything covered in white fluffy snow. The forecast is looking like it will be warming up soon... which means all of the pretty white snow will be melting which means a muddy mess. Yup that sounds like a winter in Ohio. Throughout the winter months what is better than staying warm in the kitchen baking up a storm? My sister, Heather, got engaged and I couldn’t be more thrilled for her and her finance. I am the youngest of 4 and Heather was the first one to get engaged. With that being said my parents are beyond excited.  Anytime there is an excuse to have a party my family goes all out.
