Bridal Shower Cupcake Cake

"If your dreams don't scare you they aren't big enough."
I got a call from a new customer over the weekend in request of a cake for her sister's bridal shower. I was beyond thrilled to receive the request and I got to work as soon as I could. She knew exactly what she wanted the cake to look like. She asked for a cupcake cake in the shape of a wedding dress. She had confidence in me to make this happen. My creation exceeded her expectations!!

I made the top half chocolate cupcakes and the bottom vanilla cupcakes. Then I whipped together buttercream frosting. To make the dress flow and look like one cake. I started to pipe the roses and fill in the gaps. After I was done with the frosting I put pearls to decorate the waist of the dress. I was so excited about the outcome and so was my customer. She said it was beautiful and it tasted good. Her sister loved it also and said that it was delicious! The cake add some sweetness and decore to the bridal shower and was popular with many pictures popping up in the social media.

Are you looking for cupcakes at your next wedding event? This cake would be perfect for an engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette night out, or a wedding. You know who to call if your answer is yes. We look forward to doing business with you all!! Send me a request and I promise you won't regret it.

Run for the Roses Bridal Shower

Good Evening and Happy Wednesday!! I had a high school friend approach me a little while back to make her sister's bridal shower cupcakes. Her sister attended Kentucky University, where she met her   Fiancé .  After they get married they will be moving back to Kentucky. As you probably collected Kentucky has a BIG part of their relationship.  The bride’s sister wanted to somehow incorporate Kentucky into the cupcakes for the bridal shower.  We made Run for the Roses mini cupcakes to add a creative twist to the bridal shower. She requested mini cupcakes so they are easy to grab and go. The other thought was it wouldn’t be too messy for the women who 'dressed up for the derby". We loved this idea! The flavors that she requested were Mocha Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and Strawberry Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting . With the frosting piped and colored to look like roses. These cupcakes turned out simple and classy....

Pretty and Pink Smash Cake!

Smash Cake!!!! Have you all been to a little kids first birthday?? My first one was one of my best friend's little girls birthday party. It was so much fun to watch Baby Sky with her cake. At first she was caution. She was giving her mom a look like mommy what is this?? Then she tried a little piece of the cake and her face lite up. In her tiny human brain she looked like she was screaming CAKE!!!!! It was so adorable to witness such a thing. I had the honor of making a sweet girls first birthday cake and I have a feeling her experience went the same as well. Her dad requested a smash cake and said anything with pink. So of course I had to add a special twist to it. Pretty and Pink Smash Cake When I delivered the cake I got multiple comments that "it is too pretty to smash". That to me is the best compliment. You know that the smash cake exists so the parents and relatives can take cute pictures of the cake smashed all over t...
